Direct Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aide to join our team in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.

- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to appropriate supervisors.

- Help clients with mobility and transportation as needed.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.

- Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a caregiving or direct support role is a plus but not required.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable and compassionate with a strong desire to help others.

- Must pass background checks.
