About this role
The purpose of the Strategic Relationship Manager 1 (SRM1) is to be an experienced procurement professional who is developing strategic relationship management expertise to help optimize the value of and manages the relationships between Church organizations and preferred suppliers and vendors.
Required:
- Must hold a current / valid Temple recommend and /or be worthy to possess one.
- A completed bachelor's degree (or equivalent post-secondary qualification) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, outsourcing, purchasing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated supply chain expertise, with proven experience in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, outsourcing, negotiations and purchasing.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and build collaborative relationships.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred:
- CPM or CPSM certification.
- MBA.
- English fluency.
