Job Overview

Clean Team Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at a commercial facility in Batesville, Indiana.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures, and is committed to delivering quality results. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided!

Schedule

- Days: Monday–Friday

- Hours: 6:00 PM–10:00 PM

- Weekends: Not required

- Position Type: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.

- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly.

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

- Restock supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely and correctly.

- Report maintenance issues, spills, and potential safety hazards to a supervisor.

- Follow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety guidelines.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Good time management and organizational skills.

- Dependable attendance and punctuality.

- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.

- Willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques and safe equipment operation.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.

- Ability to push or pull up to 20 pounds.

- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, lifting, sweeping, and mopping.
