Keep products moving. Build a team that gets it right.

Verdes is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead the flow of finished goods from receipt to delivery. You’ll oversee inventory, order fulfillment, and a team responsible for serving our retail stores and wholesale customers.

This role is a great fit for a detail-focused leader who can bring structure to a busy operation, coach people with clarity, and spot opportunities to make processes work better. You’ll help the team fulfill store orders accurately and turn around wholesale orders within 48 hours while maintaining strong inventory controls and quality standards.

What you’ll do

- Lead daily order fulfillment, including order processing, picking, packing, and delivery coordination.
- Manage inventory for internal and third-party finished goods, investigate discrepancies, and help reduce loss and waste.
- Schedule and assign work so store and wholesale orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Set clear expectations, monitor workflow and productivity, and coach employees through performance and development.
- Hire, onboard, and train team members, and create opportunities for cross-training and growth.
- Develop and maintain procedures for inventory control, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Partner with manufacturing and other teams to improve the end-to-end fulfillment process.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure transactions and inventory records are accurate.
- Coordinate the retrieval, documentation, and compliant destruction of returned or non-conforming products.
- Track performance, develop KPIs and goals, and share regular updates and recommendations with senior leadership.
- Address operational and personnel challenges with sound judgment, timely communication, and a solutions-focused approach.

What you bring

- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain, or transportation logistics.
- Experience leading a team, setting expectations, and supporting employee development.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with inventory records and order accuracy.
- Confidence using computers and business software; experience with Dutchie, Microsoft Office, or SharePoint is helpful.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach to solving problems and improving processes.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and stay steady in a changing environment.
