We're looking for a Forward Deployed Accountant / Controller to work directly with our customers and help shape the product.

What you’ll do

- Run close for our restaurant and hospitality customers with AI and automations, end-to-end: daily entries, weekly reconciliations, period close, reporting.
- Travel to our customers’ offices to work with them in-person and get fully “embedded” in their workflows.
- Turn the workflows that break into product improvements.

This job is for you if

- You are a qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). An FP&A background is a plus.
- You have owned a month-end close start to finish, ideally for a multi-entity company. Hospitality, restaurants or other multi-location operators are a plus.
- You are a true builder who has deployed automation and AI in accounting work.
- You are thorough and meticulous, very hands-on and in the details. You are excited to reconcile to the cent from the original sources.
- You want to be working on the ground with customers.
- You ask probing questions and enjoy discovery: understanding how a customer’s business and workflows really run is a big part of this role.
- Beyond the close, you have a track record of driving projects end-to-end.
- You are presentable and can build trust with both CFOs and non-accountants: business owners and general managers.
