About the assignment

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Architect with 9+ years of IT experience to define cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and automation strategies for enterprise-scale Azure environments. The role is Cloud Platform Architect - Azure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Landing Zones, governance, security, and cloud platform engineering.

Responsibilities

- Design and govern enterprise-scale Azure cloud platforms.
- Define Azure architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Implement and maintain Azure Landing Zones and subscription governance.
- Establish cloud security, identity, and access management controls.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform and Bicep.
- Review solution architectures and ensure compliance with platform standards.
- Define monitoring, observability, and operational excellence practices.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Optimize cloud consumption and implement cost governance controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on cloud strategy and platform roadmap.
- Mentor cloud engineers and solution architects.
- Research and recommend adoption of new Azure services and capabilities.

Requirements

Mandatory

- 9+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience implementing Azure Landing Zones.
- Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Experience with AKS and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong knowledge of networking and identity management.
- Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred.
