SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Yonkers Contracting Company is looking for motivated students to join our Accounting and IT Internship Program.
What You’ll Do
Accounting Interns
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and coding
- Help reconcile accounts, track project costs, and maintain financial records
- Learn the basics of construction accounting, including job costing, subcontractor payments, and requisitions on public works projects
IT Interns
- Provide help desk support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Help set up, configure, and track computers, mobile devices, and other equipment for office and field sites
- Assist with user accounts, system updates, and IT documentation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willing to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
