Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for a variety of projects, including civil, mechanical, and construction designs. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing advanced CAD software and drafting techniques. The position requires a strong understanding of drafting standards, 2D and 3D modeling, and collaboration with engineers and architects to develop accurate representations of design concepts.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD and other CAD software tools. Create 3D models and visualizations with SketchUp, NavisWorks, Revit, or MicroStation as needed for project presentations. Assist in designing civil layouts using Civil 3D and structural components with Revit or SolidWorks. Prepare construction documents, technical schematics, and assembly instructions adhering to industry standards. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and ensure accuracy. Review drawings for compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations. Maintain organized digital files and version control for all drafting documents. Support revisions and updates based on client feedback or project modifications.

Experience
Proven experience in CAD drafting within civil, mechanical, or construction industries. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and 2D animation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and schematics development. Experience working on construction projects or infrastructure layouts is preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and high-quality work under deadlines.
