The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, hands-on NetSuite experience, and practical knowledge of ASC 606. Exposure to ASC 842 is a plus. This role translates contract terms and service delivery evidence into accurate billing and revenue records, resolves routine reconciliation issues, and escalates complex accounting matters for review.
## Key Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition & Contract Review
- Partner with the Senior Revenue Analyst on contract and deal reviews across GPU infrastructure, Managed Services, Professional Services, and resale arrangements. Document key terms, performance obligations, billing milestones, acceptance requirements, contract modifications, and accounting questions for review.
- Apply ASC 606 to assess revenue recognition timing, variable consideration, contract modifications, and principal-versus-agent presentation; escalate complex or judgmental matters to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager.
- Support ASC 842 assessments for dedicated GPU and infrastructure arrangements, including asset identification, substitution rights, customer control, lease and service components, and commencement dates.

GPU Billing & Collections Support
- Prepare GPU invoices and validate contract rates, service periods, quantities, billing triggers, credits, and overages against supporting documentation.
- Provide billing and collections backup for the Revenue Accountant, including invoice follow-up, aging reviews, payment research, and customer billing questions.

Month-End Close & Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and agency pass-through liabilities; tie balances to the general ledger and supporting records, investigate differences, and resolve aged items.
- Support monthly revenue close, including journal-entry support, revenue schedule validation, account reconciliations, and investigation of reconciling items.

NetSuite, Audit & Process Improvement
- Use NetSuite to research sales orders, invoices, credit memos, revenue arrangements, revenue plans, and journal entries; support transaction setup, revenue schedule validation, and close activities.
- Coordinate with Sales Ops to obtain contracts, purchase orders, acceptance or go-live confirmations, proof of delivery, usage records, and other billing or revenue support. Maintain traceable documentation in NetSuite and Dropbox.
- Support revenue audit requests and process improvements, including reconciliations, transaction samples, accounting support, exception tracking, and repeatable procedures.

## Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience. Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience, including transaction research, reporting, reconciliations, and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
- Practical ASC 606 experience reviewing customer contracts and supporting revenue recognition analyses and documentation. ASC 842 experience with embedded leases, lease and service components, or lessor accounting is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, SUMIFS, and transaction-level data analysis.

Preferred
- Technology industry experience, including AI/GPU infrastructure, cloud/hosting, data centers, resale, managed services, or professional services.
- Experience with recurring, usage-based, or milestone billing, including prepayments, service credits, and multi-component arrangements.
- Experience with principal-versus-agent accounting, vendor pass-through accounts, audit support, or NetSuite reporting.
- Experience with Salesforce-to-NetSuite workflows and contract-to-billing audit trails.
