Assembly Technician (Industrial Coating Support)
Hours : Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation : $20/hr
Overtime : Opportunities for weekday overtime or Saturday work to help us hit production milestones.
Location: Charlotte, NC
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the specialized coating process for high-value, water-cooled chillers, ensuring every unit is prepared and reassembled to the highest standards.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the mechanical teardown and reassembly of industrial equipment. Key duties include: Using air impact guns and hand tools for efficient bolt removal and disassembly. Utilizing rubber mallets to precisely install protective corks into chiller tubes. Removing seals and corks using forced-air systems once the coating process is complete. Rebuilding units to exact specifications, ensuring mechanical integrity.

This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy an active, "on-your-feet" work environment. To be successful, you should have: Mechanical aptitude and comfort using power tools The ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed throughout the shift. A high level of attention to detail to ensure the protection of high-value components.
