Business Systems Analyst II

## The Opportunity:
Contributes to the implementation of new data management processes, standards, and operational plans, ensuring improvements in data accuracy, security, and governance. Supports master data management efforts related to product, customer, and regulatory data to maintain consistency across business functions. Manages smaller data-related projects and/or processes, such as data validation initiatives and system upgrades or modifications that impact master data records. Assists in the implementation of new data governance standards and compliance initiatives and ensures proper execution of established data governance protocols. Problems and issues are typically recurring but varied, requiring the analysis of multiple factors such as data inconsistencies, integration challenges, or evolving business requirements. Applies expertise in evaluating root causes, selecting known solutions, and optimizing data workflows. Engages with IT teams, compliance officers and external vendors to ensure data integrity, clarify requirements, and support operational alignment.

What we’re looking for

Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience, education and training

Experience: 3+ years of experience supporting ERP or enterprise business systems.

o Experience working with complex organizational structures, including hierarchical, functional, and matrix environments.

o Ability to partner with business stakeholders to identify needs, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements.

o Exposure supporting ERP or enterprise systems such as Epicor, SAP, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Exact.

o Ability to gather business requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and support system enhancements.

o Proven ability to manage assigned tasks, follow through on priorities, and escalate risks or blockers appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience supporting system testing, validation, user acceptance testing, documentation, or data review activities. Experience creating training materials, quick reference guides, process documentation, or business communications. Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn ERP processes and business system best practices.

The Business Systems Analyst II helps cross-functional teams to drive system optimization, process improvements, and data-driven decision making across the Avantor Fluid Handling organization. This role contributes to issue resolution, enhancement intake, documentation, testing, reporting support, training, and adoption activities while embodying Avantor's iCARE values.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Epicor ERP and enterprise system needs by helping users document issues, clarify requirements, and identify next steps. Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epicor ERP configurations, reporting solutions, process improvements, and system enhancements.

• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to evaluate business needs, recommend best practices, and prioritize enhancement opportunities.

• Support testing, validation, deployment, and change management activities for system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements.

• Utilize ABS methodologies and continuous improvement principles to optimize business processes and system performance.

• Develop and deliver training materials, user documentation, and end-user learning programs through online learning platforms, Viva Engage, and other communication channels.

• Support ERP-related projects, serving as a project resource as needed.

• Partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business leaders, and technical teams to align system capabilities with organizational objectives.

• Monitor system performance to support business growth.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions while supporting system configuration, data integration, security, and continuous process optimization.

Strong background in ERP implementations, business process improvement, end user training, multi company and multi-site environments, and operational process optimization. Proven success leading ERP rollouts, supporting acquisitions, gathering business requirements, developing documentation, and driving adoption of best practices across manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations. Experienced partnering with technical and functional teams to improve processes, support users, and enhance overall ERP effectiveness.

Experience supporting ERP projects, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing business processes, and integrating solutions such as warehouse management systems, shop floor automation, manufacturing execution systems and AI agentic solutions.
