Flexible Part-Time Opportunities Available

Do you enjoy sports and want to make a positive impact in your community? We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable individuals to serve as Sports Officials for our youth and adult recreation leagues. Officials play an important role in creating a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for participants while helping leagues run smoothly.

Current opportunities are available for:

- Youth Basketball

- Youth Baseball

- Youth Softball

- Youth Volleyball

- Adult Softball

No prior officiating experience is required for all positions. Training and support may be provided for qualified candidates who are eager to learn.

Essential Responsibilities

- Officiate assigned games in a professional and impartial manner.

- Apply league rules consistently and fairly throughout competition.

- Promote good sportsmanship among athletes, coaches, and spectators.

- Monitor game play and enforce safety standards to help prevent injuries.

- Communicate rule interpretations, decisions, and game information clearly and respectfully.

- Manage game flow and maintain control of contests in a positive and professional manner.

- Record game results and other required information accurately.

- Attend required trainings, meetings, and rules review sessions.

- Represent the organization in a positive manner while interacting with participants and spectators.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Must be at least 14 years of age to officiate Baseball and Softball.

- Must be at least 15 years of age to officiate Basketball and Volleyball.

- Previous experience as an official, coach, athlete, or participant is helpful but not required.

- Ability to learn and apply sport-specific rules and regulations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.

- Dependable attendance and punctuality.

- Availability to work evenings and weekends as league schedules require.

- Ability to successfully complete required training.

- Must pass a background check if applicable to the assigned position.
