*Dental Assistant Level II (NDAEB)

Dental office in Thornhill is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant Level II.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Experienced Certified Dental Assistant Level II (require NDAEB certification)

- Prefer 1+ year of experience

LOCATION : Bathurst/Hwy 7 (free parking)

HOURS : This is a full-time position with some flexibility with days and hours

- Monday (9-6)

- Tuesday (9-8)

- Wednesday (8-5)

- Thursday (9-8)

- Friday (8-3)

COMPENSATION: $25-33+ ​depending on experience and performance

RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will work alongside other dental assistant to:

- assist the dentist during dental procedures

- prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

- take digital dental x-rays

- take digital impressions using the iTero scanner (training provided)

- take alginate impressions from time to time as required

- educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

SKILLS:

- proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures

- experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- familiarity with digital impressions is an asset

- familiarity with Tracker preferred but training provided

- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
