We are looking for an Operations Controller at Vilofoss who can support our manufacturing business through analysis, reporting, and sparring. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with production sites and stakeholders across the business to improve transparency, support decision-making, and drive operational excellence.
Your responsibilities
As Operations Controller, you will be a key partner to our manufacturing organization, helping translate operational data into actionable business insights. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production controlling, supporting decision-making across sites, and driving continuous improvements in reporting, processes, and performance management.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading production controlling activities, including month-end closing, product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing finance processes
- Analyzing operational and financial performance, identifying variances, and providing data-driven recommendations
- Supporting forecasting, business cases, investment analyses, and cost optimization initiatives
- Developing and enhancing reporting and visualization tools, including Power BI
- Partnering with Production and Purchasing to strengthen data quality, process compliance, and operational performance
- Supporting inventory management, CAPEX follow-up, audits, and ESG reporting
- Driving standardization and best-practice implementation of key processes, reporting, and KPIs across sites
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Production, Purchasing, giving you broad exposure to the business and a unique opportunity to influence both operational and financial performance.
Who are you?
We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong analytical mindset and an interest in manufacturing operations.
You bring:
- Experience within controlling, finance, or business partnering, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of production processes, costing, and operational performance management
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in Danish and English

Practical information
The role is based at DLG headquarters in Fredericia, Denmark. Expect 5-10 yearly days of travelling across Europe to different Vilofoss locations.
