About the role
This is an administrative support role within Waythrough’s employment services across Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) and Hampshire. You will help ensure the services run smoothly and efficiently by providing reliable administrative support to managers and staff. The role involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings and events, processing financial transactions and supporting day-to-day service operations. You will be primarily based remotely or at your usual location, with occasional attendance at the Bristol Spaceworks office.
What you’ll do
- Administrative support: Provide day-to-day assistance to employment services staff and managers, helping them stay organised and meet deadlines.
- Data management: Record referrals on SystmOne, maintain accurate client information and support managers with monthly data checks and reporting.
- Quality assurance: Maintain organised SharePoint records and support monthly quality governance processes.
- Meetings and coordination: Arrange meetings, take minutes, book venues and coordinate events, training and travel arrangements.
- Financial administration: Process purchase orders, invoices and other financial transactions relating to service delivery.
- Communication and liaison: Manage incoming post, respond to enquiries and direct people to the appropriate staff or partner services.
- Additional support: Assist with NHS RiO card renewals, Employer Wellbeing Network communications and, where required, lone-working systems.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with strong administrative and communication skills. You should be comfortable working with computerised systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and produce accurate records. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will be supporting colleagues across different locations and working with external organisations.
Most importantly, you should share Waythrough’s values of being kind, courageous and respectful, and be committed to supporting services that make a positive difference to people’s lives.
