About this role
IT Helpdesk acts as the first responder for our end users
who need technical assistance. We strive to provide the best experience
possible understanding how stressful a situation can be to our users who cannot
conduct business due to technical challenges. If we are not able to resolve the
technical issues, we will ensure to route the support request to the proper
group who can resolve the issue.
As Jr Tech role, the main activities are to provide advice
and support end-users, answering queries and addressing system and user issues
in a timely and professional manner.
1. Keeping inventory accurate and assessing the
requirement for IT equipment
2. Managing laptop/desktop imaging and
configuration, desk setups, equipment distribution and collection.
3. Work with supplier warranty to repair IT
equipment.
4. Attends the resolution of doubts or requests for
information of the users.
5. Resolve basic tickets.
6. Provide Maintenance on equipment's which
include:
- Hardware parts
replacement.
- Software installations and
updates.
- Physical maintenance of
equipment's.
- Backup information.
- Structured cable basic
troubleshooting.
- Telephony basic Support.
7. If needed move equipment's from one location to
another.
8. Other IT related functions and projects as
requested that are not limited to daily support.
Requirements
- Education Level: University/ College
- Advanced English Level
- Computer knowledge: Windows, Office: Word, Excel, Power Point & Social
Media
- Specialized
knowledge: Basic
experience in Helpdesk IT Contact Call center, Service Now knowledge or any other ticket handling system.
