Data & AI Engineering – Cost Management Project

Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Data & AI Engineer to join our team for an exciting project aimed at establishing a robust cost data foundation. This foundation will support various analytics and AI use cases, including:

- Conversational AI for natural-language interaction with cost data
- Descriptive and diagnostic analytics to understand cost developments and key drivers
- Forecasting and predictive use cases based on historical and ongoing project data

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost data infrastructure that supports analytics and AI initiatives.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and modeling processes to ensure high-quality data availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and MCP-based solutions.
- Design and deploy conversational AI applications that leverage cost data for natural-language interactions.
- Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analytics to identify trends and key drivers in cost data.
- Utilize forecasting techniques to predict future cost developments based on historical data.
- Engage in LLM/AI integration and prompt engineering to enhance data interaction capabilities.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong experience in Data Engineering and AI Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Python (including Python notebooks), SQL, and PySpark.
- Demonstrated expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and data modeling.
- Experience with APIs and MCP-based integrations.
- Familiarity with LLM/AI integration and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of analytics, data quality, and building reliable data foundations for AI use cases is highly beneficial.
