About this role

Position: Part-Time Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)
Reports to: Clinical Supervisor, Lead BCBA
Compensation: $60-$70 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time, about 10-15 hours per week
Location: Primarily serving the North Bay, including Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties.

About the Role
Provide clinical care for people with developmental disabilities and help launch a new behavioral program.

Atlas Home Health is launching an Intensive Behavioral Support program with North Bay Regional Center. As a part-time BCBA on our behavioral team, you’ll work alongside our lead BCBA to add clinical support to our behavioral division. You’ll assess behavior, write and oversee individualized support plans, and train and supervise the Behavior Technicians who carry them out. You’ll support children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, at home and in the community.

What you’ll do
• Review referrals and records, then assess behavior through interviews, observation and data
• Write and update each client’s behavior support plan, with clear goals, safety steps and ways to teach new skills
• Review data often, and change the plan quickly when behavior gets worse or something isn’t working
• Train, observe and coach Behavior Technicians, and confirm each one is ready before they work on their own
• Work with families, residential and day-program teams, doctors and other providers, so that services fit together
• Keep North Bay Regional Center service coordinators updated on your clients’ plans and progress
• Review incidents and safety concerns, and make sure follow-up happens
• Keep notes and records accurate and on time, and help with audits and quality reviews

What the work is really like
Many clients in this program have behaviors that put themselves or others at risk, such as aggression, self-injury, elopement, pica or property destruction. You will be in homes and community settings, and you may need to respond to unpredictable situations. We want you to know that up front.

You won’t do it alone. You’ll have Atlas’s Medical Director, lead BCBA and care team to support you, and you’ll have a say when a caseload, travel distance or risk level is too much. You’ll make sure restrictive or emergency practices are never used for punishment, convenience or to cover short staffing.

The role mixes office and field work: computer and record review, driving between locations, and time on your feet in clients’ homes. Some admin work can be done remotely when approved.

What you need
• Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
• Graduate degree that supports your BCBA certification
• Experience assessing and treating challenging behavior in people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Experience training and supervising behavior technicians or direct-support staff
• Knowledge of functional assessment, positive behavior support, crisis prevention and data analysis
• Clear communication with clients, families, clinicians, regional center staff and leadership
• Ability to satisfy Atlas and North Bay Regional Center background, reference and screening checks
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and required auto insurance

Nice to have
• Experience building or running intensive behavioral support services for a California regional center
• Familiarity with North Bay Regional Center, Regional Center of the East Bay, or comparable regional center authorizations
• Experience with severe aggression, self-injury, elopement, pica and behavior that puts a home placement at risk
• Experience building technician training, supervision, and quality-assurance or long-term support systems
• Crisis-prevention (CPI or comparable) training
• Experience launching a new program and collaborating with interdisciplinary medical leadership

What you get
• A flexible part-time schedule of about 10–15 hours a week, with some added availability when client safety or supervision needs call for it
• A chance to help shape a new program, with your clinical judgment valued
• A team of Behavior Technicians you train and supervise, plus support from a lead BCBA and Atlas’s Medical Director
• A mix of office, home and community work, with some remote admin time
