Use interviews, workshops, observation, process reviews and qualitative or quantitative analysis to distinguish root causes from symptoms.

- Agile delivery support: Develop and refine epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, playbacks and demonstrations, and provide timely clarification to Product Owners, developers and QA.
- Business rules and decision logic: Document treatment, routing, allocation, eligibility, exclusion, recall, status, hold and exception rules using clear decision tables, rule inventories and process models.
- Data and management information: Define data requirements, mappings, reconciliations, management information measures and data-quality checks. Analyse operational evidence to validate requirements and assess solution outcomes.
- Risk, controls and compliance: Identify operational, conduct, regulatory, information-security, data and implementation risks. Ensure control requirements, audit evidence, segregation of duties and exception management are clearly defined.
- Testing and business acceptance: Define business scenarios and expected outcomes, review requirements coverage, support system integration testing and UAT, assist with defect triage and regression assessment, and coordinate business acceptance and sign-off evidence.
- Operational readiness and implementation: Assess impacts on people, process, policy, procedures, training, communication, access, vendors and support. Coordinate readiness actions and remain engaged through implementation and stabilisation.
- Benefits and post-implementation validation: Support the definition of baselines, targets, success measures and evidence sources. Monitor adoption and performance, maintain supporting analysis and escalate gaps to the accountable Business or Benefit Owner.
- Stakeholder and decision management: Build effective working relationships across Business, GT, QA and control functions. Facilitate decisions, manage conflict, document assumptions and decisions, and communicate dependencies, risks and blockers transparently.
