What Youll Do
- Service, repair, start up, and install heavy commercial HVAC equipment, including reciprocating, rotary, and centrifugal chillers across all tonnages
- Troubleshoot and maintain building systems, including ancillary HVAC equipment, cooling towers, controllers, and retrofits
- Perform comprehensive maintenance inspections in line with contract scopes and best practices
- Use your technical knowledge to diagnose system issues, recommend solutions, and deliver quality results
- Build trusted relationships with customers by delivering professional, effective communication and resolving issues proactively
- Comply with all Hunton safety standards, OSHA, and EPA regulations to ensure a safety-first approach in every task
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing Trane and other OEM commercial HVAC systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC system operations, including airside, waterside, and control systems
- Experience with boilers and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is a plus
- Current EPA refrigerant certification
- Technical certifications or OEM factory training (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and mobile service technology
- Flexibility to work overtime and varied schedules, as needed
- Valid Texas drivers license with a clean driving record (no violations in the past 3 years)
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
