Production Welder

Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable and skilled Production Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Youngstown, OH! This position involves measuring, cutting, assembling, and welding metal components in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing quality work. Candidates with Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials according to specifications.
- Perform Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding as required.
- Assemble metal components accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards.
- Operate hand tools, including 4-inch and 9-inch grinders.
- Prepare work surfaces for safe and effective welding.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
- At least 6 months of Flux-Cored (Dual Shield) welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, reliable, and safety-focused.
- Willingness to learn and follow company processes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Good vision and hearing to identify potential hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
