Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal and other materials to create components and assemblies according to specifications. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the required standards and codes.
Responsibilities Interpret and read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Utilize various fabrication tools and machinery, including plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and welding tools. Perform pipe threading and ductwork assembly as required for projects. Ensure all work adheres to industry codes and standards for safety and quality. Assemble components accurately while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Conduct routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.
Requirements Proven experience in fabrication, including skills in welding, pipe threading, and ductwork. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate fabrication machinery effectively. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to fabrication processes. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
