About the Role:
Murkez Technologies is looking for a Cash
Officer to support cash management for a US based client. The main focus of
this role is day-to-day cash management: tracking, reconciling, and reporting
cash across all stores. The Cash Officer will also support basic forecasting
and help improve processes that reduce cash losses.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Operations &
Reconciliations
- Manage
daily cash activities across stores.
- Reconcile
store cash deposits with bank statements every day.
- Prepare
and share daily cash position reports across all locations.
Financial Analysis &
Reporting
- Track
cash flow trends across stores and flag unusual variances.
- Help
prepare simple cash forecasts and variance reports.
- Support
management with easy-to-read cash dashboards and reports.
Process Improvement &
Optimization
- Help
reduce cash handling errors and losses at the store level.
- Support
the move from Smart Safe to Cash-in-Transit (CIT) services.
- Suggest
simple process improvements to make cash handling more efficient.
Performance Impact
- Help
lower cash losses across the store network.
- Support
smooth cash operations during store-level transitions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1 or more years of experience in cash management or treasury.
- Good
with numbers, reconciliations, and problem-solving.
- Comfortable
using Microsoft Excel and basic finance systems.
- Clear
communicator, organized, and detail-focused.
- Able
to handle multiple stores and tasks at once.
