Job Summary:
The Detroit Athletic Club is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Engineering team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment and building systems.
- Functions Equipment set-ups as needed.
- Preventative Maintenance tasks (PM's)
- Ability to log all work assigned and completed in computerized maintenance management system.
- Able to perform mechanical systems and pool water testing
- Consistently maintain DAC engineering department high maintenance and repair standards. Other Duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 3rd Class Refrigeration Operator's License
- Minimum of City of Detroit Low Pressure Boiler Operator's license
- HVAC / Refrigeration Technician Certificate, Valid License and Field Experience
- Previous building maintenance experience
- Basic computer skills, experience with building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment (within Engineering team and throughout the club)
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- High school diploma required, courses in HVAC preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift to 40 pounds.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
