Company: The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) is a trade organization that advocates regulatory and legislative positions of importance to the natural gas pipeline industry in North America. INGAA is comprised of 28 members, representing the vast majority of the interstate natural gas transmission pipeline companies in the U.S. and Canada. INGAA members operate almost 200,000 miles of pipeline.
Position Overview: The Regulatory Counsel serves as a subject-matter expert supporting INGAA’s General Counsel and has primary responsibility for FERC regulatory matters, including ratemaking, accounting, certificates, gas-electric coordination, and related litigation. This position works closely with the Legal and Rates Committee, Accounting Task Force, and co-leads the Construction, Compliance & Permitting Task Force on legal and policy matters involving environmental construction, pipeline permitting, operations, maintenance, safety, and federal appellate litigation.
Experience: 4+ years of legal experience in energy, regulatory, administrative, or appellate law, including experience with FERC and federal energy regulation. Direct experience with interstate natural gas pipeline regulation is strongly preferred.
Location: Washington, D.C.; Hybrid work environment.

Travel: Travel up to 20% for meetings, conferences, and business-related events.
Compensation: $240K base salary, including healthcare benefits.
Bar: Must be a member in good standing of a state bar association.
