About this role

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager / Paralegal.

Overview: Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager / Paralegal.
Company:  Food and beverage company
Experience: Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience
Location:  Remote

Responsibilities Include:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and marketing/influencer agreements.
Run redlines, conduct first-level review, and flag key legal and business issues for the attorneys.
Serve as a liaison between legal team and outside counsel/internal stakeholders and partner with stakeholders to drive efficient contract review and completion of legal tasks.
Provide litigation support: draft/redline simple pleadings, track deadlines, collect documents, and communicate with outside counsel.
Monitor legal workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of legal team
Assist in other legal areas, as needed/appropriate according to candidate’s experience (including IP, Advertising, Regulatory)

Qualifications Include:

5+ years of relevant experience as a contracts manager or paralegal
Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
Demonstrated experience working within a lean legal team and managing multiple needs in a fast-paced environment
Experience providing support in litigation, IP, marketing, or regulatory is a plus
Food or beverage experience is a plus

Pay Range: $50-60/hour
