About this role
- Lead the development and delivery of civil engineering designs, technical documentation, part specifications, and design standards across infrastructure and building projects.
- Oversee and review detailed engineering calculations, structural analyses, and technical plans.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team across departments .
- Conduct trend research and foster innovation in design processes, material selection, and modelling methodologies.
- Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and compliance for all technical changes , engineering drawings, and revisions.
- Evaluate team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and align goals with comp any object ives .
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and long-term project planning.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards at every stage of the design and finalization process .
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and execution requirements.
- Supervise the use of civil engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000) and ensure team proficiency in technical platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Have min 5 years of experience in engineering with at least 2 years in managerial level.
- Proven track record of successfully completing commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in construction management administration.
- High integrity is a must
- Strong skills in data analysis, engineering documentation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
