Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM ( Flexible options available for candidates who prefer not to work Fridays or wish to leave early! )

Key Responsibilities
General Pharmacy Duties:
Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders; review medication profiles for safety, allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with inventory management, controlled substances, and overall pharmacy operations.
Support the development of pharmacy policies, procedures, staff training, and program monitoring methodologies.
Participate in staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Sterile Compounding Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee sterile compounding (hazardous and non-hazardous) in strict compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>.
Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations.
Maintain cleanroom integrity, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring standards.
Maintain complete compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding compliant with USP <797>, USP <800>, DEA, OSHA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Setting: Ability to work in a sterile compounding environment. Experience in home infusion, hospital, or oncology infusion pharmacy settings is preferred.
Core Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmacy principles, drug properties, interactions, and perpetual inventory systems.
Communication & Detail: Excellent verbal/written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail for prolonged periods.
Compliance: Strict adherence to regulatory requirements, Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, and safety protocols—including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, reach overhead, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Exert up to 40 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 lbs of force frequently to lift or move objects.
Sufficient manual dexterity to manipulate syringes, vials, needles, IV bags, and compounding materials.
Ability to consistently wear and properly maintain all required PPE.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $85.00 Per Hour
