Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

Pay Rate: $27.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (No Weekend Shifts)
Rx relief is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join a premier healthcare team in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time daytime role offers a stable schedule with no weekend coverage required. Local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
Automated Dispensing & Delivery: Refill and restock Omnicell cabinets, fill medication cassettes, bins, and patient-specific requests, and deliver medications directly to nursing units.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, perform scheduled cycle counts/audits, process medication returns and credits, and track out-dates/damaged/recalled stock.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure precise packaging and labeling before distribution, assist with medication room inspections, and prepare monthly audit documentation.
Specialized Support: Monitor high-alert medications, emergency kits, and antidote inventory while supporting patient-owned medication processing per facility policy.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) required.
Experience: Proven hospital experience operating Omnicell cabinets and medication filling machines.
Core Competencies: Strong background in general inpatient technician duties, inventory rotation, and managing out-dates.
Residency: Must be a local candidate residing in or near Scottsdale, AZ.
