PRN Hospital Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Dallas, TX area (Local Candidates Only)
Pay Rate: $57/hr or $63/hr (DOE)
Position Type: Temp / Temp-to-Hire
Rx relief is currently hiring for 2 PRN Hospital Inpatient Pharmacists to join a large hospital facility in the Dallas, TX area. This role offers flexible weekend scheduling with potential opportunity for permanent hire, and potential weekday shifts (dependent on needs).
Shift & Schedule Details
Days: Saturday and Sunday (Must be available to work both days, 2 weekends per month)
Hours: 8-hour shifts
Start Times Available: 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 12:00 PM, or 2:30 PM
Flexibility: Candidates must be open to all shift times. Note: We are open to one candidate who prefers day shifts and one candidate who prefers evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders in a high-volume, large-hospital setting.
Prepare, compound, and inspect IV ad-mixtures and sterile products following strict safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient drug therapy.
Monitor patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience in a large hospital setting (experience restricted to small hospitals will not be considered).
Certifications: Active IV Certification required.
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
Residency: Must be a local Dallas-area candidate.
