What You will Do:
Own and communicate innovation process, templates, and guidelines
- Drive innovation in power plant controls engineering workstreams, including idea gathering, management, decision criteria and forums, and project progress
- Lead innovation steering committee to approve project milestones, prioritize projects, and allocate resources and funding
- Incorporate rigorous risk-based project management to ensure improvements are made without disrupting current quality and delivery timelines
- Lead innovation technology team to build automation and AI tools in support of engineering process change and productivity improvement projects
- Monitor and track innovation projects, including investments and benefits
- Report on innovation results and progress to company and customer executives
- Support and present at governance meetings with company and customer executives to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher with at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience in gas power controls
- Program and project management experience, with high organizational skills
- Proven thought leadership and experience driving improvements
- Demonstrated global mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
- Ability to communicate and present effectively and clearly with management, peers, team members, and clients
Pay Range: (100K to 130K USD).
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
Hybrid: We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Greenville/SC and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, 15% of travel is required.
