Hardware Application Engineer- open to junior candidates

What You'll Do

- Troubleshoot products and perform failure/root cause analysis
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts
- Develop and run Python scripts in Windows and Linux environments
- Use engineering tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Support customers by resolving technical issues and answering inquiries
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 0-3 years of engineering experience
- Proficiency with Python
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Ability to read electrical schematics and PCB layouts
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and debugging tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with image sensors and image processing
- Familiarity with an additional object-oriented programming language

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
