About this role

Description Seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support the development, optimization, and maintenance of CNC machining processes used in the production of world-class musical instruments. This role is responsible for creating CNC programs, designing and fabricating fixtures, improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive CNC programming and machining experience, strong CAD/CAM capabilities, and a passion for developing innovative manufacturing solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for production and new product development.
- DKey Responsibilitiesesign, fabricate, and implement tooling and fixturing for manufacturing processes.
- Program CNC equipment using Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and other CAD/CAM software.
- Read, edit, and troubleshoot CNC G-Code.
- Support new product introductions through prototype development and process validation.
- Analyze and improve machining processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Create setup instructions, process documentation, quality checks, and changeover procedures.
- Monitor machine capacity, utilization, and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Train and develop CNC operators on programming, setups, best practices, and safety procedures.
- Manage tooling inventory, replacement schedules, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, and boring machines as needed.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and New Product Development teams.
- Support preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities on CNC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of CNC machining, tooling, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot CNC G-Code.
- Minimum 3 years of CAD/CAM programming experience.
- Proficiency with Mastercam and CAD software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with precision measurement equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Preferred

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Machine Tool Technology, or related field.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Experience machining wood products or working within a woodworking manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience.
- Tool and die design experience.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
