About this role

Description

-Test equipment: Use of Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzers/Vector Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometry, Digital Acquisition Systems, 1149.1 JTAG, Evaluation Kits (Power Blocks, FPGA boards, Microprocessor kits)
-Specialty: Analog Design/Test, Digital Design/Test, RF Design/Test, Optical Design/Test, Software Testing
-Meets Bar: DMM + Oscilloscope + Scripting
-Meets High Bar (one set of these)
-Analog: Resistor Box, AC/DC power, PSRR, noise/ripple/phase measurements, EMI/EMC
-i.e., can structure tests to test gain amplifiers, power supplies, etc.
-Digital: Logic analyzer, I2C/SPI/UART/DAQ knowledge, Ethernet (802.3 compliance), PCIe compliance, Network testing (i.e., wireshark, packet debugging) EMI/EMC
-i.e., can run tests to test SPI bus, memory interfaces, network testing
-Electrical Generics

-Ohms Law
-Schematic reading, Drawing reading, basic software automation (SCPI, Python, matlab etc.)
Meets High Bar:
-Rack development: use of evaluation kits to setup infrastructure (Linux/Python), verification of requirements (example: interface validation testing, Verification Cross-Reference Matrix examples)
-Can generate FPGA images, Linux/windows software packages, and work with component vendors/manufacturers to generate test programs
-Clean artifact generation
-Test reports in readable formats
-Pass/fail criteria self defined
-Detailed artifacts (csv files, logs, test measurement data) captured
-Software: Knowledge of Python (pytest), SCPI commands, scripting (i.e., JTAG, Vivado, LabView, Custom scripts), Building GUIs

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
