Southern Health Partners is looking for a Full Time LPN to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina.
This is a 12-hour night shift role for an LPN who is comfortable thinking on their feet, working independently, and providing quality care in a structured, secure environment.
And because we know nights and weekends deserve a little extra recognition, this position offers a night and weekend shift differential. 💰🌙
🩺 Your Role
You'll provide essential nursing care to patients throughout your shift while working as part of a dedicated correctional healthcare team.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Performing nursing assessments and providing direct patient care
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition
- Responding to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
- Providing patient education and reinforcing care plans
- Communicating patient concerns to providers and other healthcare team members
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
- Following established clinical protocols and standards of care
- Working collaboratively with nursing, medical, and correctional staff
- Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and professional healthcare environment
Qualifications
🎯 What Youll Need
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and professional approach to patient care
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
