Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Howell, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will be responsible for performing a variety of personal care and household tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those under your care.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Assist with medication reminders and documentation.

- Report any changes in client condition or needs to supervisory staff promptly.

- Maintain client confidentiality and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting is a plus.

- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred.

- Must be able to pass background checks.
