Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance and service activities to assure Safety, Quality, & Productivity in the following areas:
Labor
Support Team Members
Preventive Maintenance
Packaging
Forklift/overhead crane operation
Bolting torque and tension
Equipment assembly
Overhead lifting
Qualifications
The responsibilities of the Service Technician II requires the following qualifications:
1 years maintenance experience
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. Pareto, root cause, Plan/Do/Check/Act, etc.) to identify and effective countermeasures implementation
Capable of operating shop equipment: pallet jack, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, forklifts, etc.
Occasionally necessary to lift 50 lbs safely. Effectively use cranes and jibs.
Capable of working under pressure while maintaining logical thought process
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Self-directed decision making based on sound prioritization of business needs
Strong, team orientation, motivation, training and influencing skills
Proven ability to effectively communicate / interact with Operators, supervisors, and equipment technical representatives
Facilities equipment: Forklift, overhead crane, pneumatic system operation and basic maintenance.
Basic to moderate computer skills
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
