Field Support Specialist, Charging OPX

Charging OPX makes field technicians more capable, better supported, and more clearly heard — at the system level. As a Field Support Specialist (OPX Sustaining), you own short-cycle operational support across Supercharger, Wall Connector, and Megacharger while feeding patterns that become multi-quarter domain initiatives.

You understand Field Operations and common pain points, and work quickly to close feedback loops with Technicians, Field Managers, and other field stakeholders. When operations get stuck, you know how to ask the right questions and leverage all available information to find a path forward. Attitude is just as impactful as experience here.

- Resolve sustaining tickets (site-level data corrections, maintenance report issues, operational fixes) across the NAM charging fleet
- Track containment / retrofit execution with field teams; flag overdue actions; report status to domain TPMs
- Coordinate OPX pilots and rollouts with FSTs and field managers; collect structured feedback; track adherence
- Triage Take-Charges / improvement submissions: label, score, and route to the correct domain owner
- Surface patterns when one-off fixes point to systemic problems — escalate into domain initiatives
- Support Change Adoption when remediation needs field chase on landed changes

- Experience in field service operations, technical support, or process improvement — ideally energy, charging, utilities, or industrial equipment
- Comfort across data systems (ticketing, asset databases, dashboards) to diagnose and resolve operational issues
- Clear written and verbal communication with technicians, regional managers, and program managers
- Pattern recognition — know when to escalate rather than only clear the queue
- Willingness to travel across NAM occasionally to support field operations
