Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pilot organizations overall health and development.
- Maintain high standards of performance, accountability, and professionalism.
- Develop and maintain department-wide standardization policies.
- Ensure operational standards are consistently maintained across Jet Access aircraft.
- Review reports to identify trends, exposures, and operational risks.
- Provide strategic direction for the departments future state.
- Conduct limited support flying to maintain type currency and operational insight.
- Maintain final authority over hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure strategic teaching and application of tactical decisions.
- Oversee aircraft and crew compliance with regulations, documentation, and operational standards.
- Anticipate staffing and quality-of-life needs and address potential operational constraints.
- Champion the effectiveness of pilot-facing systems.
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies.

Requirements
- Hold an ATP Certificate.
- Have 5,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have 3,000 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC) experience.
- Have at least 3 years of PIC experience in Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
- Have leadership experience in a Part 135 environment.
- Have experience managing a pilot group of 25 or more.
- Ability to obtain and maintain type ratings applicable to the Jet Access fleet.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of aviation standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN.
- Successfully pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.
