14/14 Helicopter Mechanic (UH-1H / Bell 206) — Orlando, FL
**Pay:** $65,000–$85,000 per year (DOE) **Location:** Orlando / Central Florida base, with travel **Schedule:** 14 days on / 14 days off
Housing is provided while you're on hitch, and travel during the hitch is covered. Travel between home and the base before and after a hitch is not covered.
## About the opportunity
Our client, an established FAA Part 133/135/137 helicopter operator based in Central Florida, needs an experienced helicopter mechanic for a 14/14 rotation. The fleet includes Bell UH-1H Huey and Bell 206 series aircraft. During spray season you travel with the team to support field operations. The client would like the new mechanic to start in December 2026.
## What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on UH-1H and/or Bell 206 aircraft
- Support line and field maintenance during 14-day hitches
- Travel with the operation during spray season
- Keep aircraft airworthy and maintenance records accurate to FAA and company standards
- Work with the shop and field maintenance team under DOM/ADOM leadership
## What you need
- FAA A&P certificate
- 5+ years of hands-on experience on the **UH-1H or the Bell 206** (either airframe qualifies)
- Willing to work a 14 on / 14 off rotation
- Willing to travel with the team during spray season
- Able to base out of the Central Florida operation between hitches, or willing to relocate
**Nice to have:** current or recent time on type; experience in utility, agricultural or spray operations.
