Do you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems and
seeing the impact of your work? As our team continues to grow, we're looking
for a motivated Finance Assistant to help support a range of essential

This is a 12m FTC hybrid role with Newport as your base
location, and you will be required to attend the office two days per week.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing
and supporting a range of finance activities including accounts payable,
accounts receivable, cash administration and accounting tasks.
- Ensuring
service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are
achieved through effective workload management and accurate processing.
- Taking
ownership of day-to-day finance activities and escalating more complex
issues where required.
- Supporting
finance period close activities, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting
and journal processing.
- Investigating
queries from customers and third parties, resolving issues where possible
and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Contributing
to continuous service improvement by identifying issues, providing
feedback and supporting the production of key financial information.
What you'll bring:
- Previous
experience working within a finance environment.
- Strong
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills with confidence working with
financial data.
- Excellent
attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and data.
- Ability
to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
- Confidence
using systems and handling data within a professional environment.
- A
proactive approach to problem solving, accountability and supporting
multiple finance processes.
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge
and experience of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including
Oracle.
- Experience
delivering customer-focused service within a professional environment.
If you're interested in this role but not sure if your
skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd
love to hear from you!
