5S Workplace Associate (Seasonal)

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be trained on how to help maintain/uphold our 5S standards. If you have a strong work ethic, are reliable and flexible as to a job schedule, and value teamwork in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment we want to hear from you.

- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Tesla 5S Standardization Guidelines
- Conduct daily physical and visual audits of assigned areas to ensure 5S standards are consistently met
- Complete Audit Scorecards and capture photos to document compliance in assigned areas.
- Physically set up new PC Buffer/Supermarket areas, including labeling floors, bins, racks, signage, and clearing debris
- Prepare tools and materials to assist in maintaining 5S standards, including printing, cutting, gluing, and laminating labels, signage, and documents
- Collaborate with Inventory Control, Material Flow, Production, and NPI teams to ensure efficient operations
- Support and adhere to Warehouse Team best practices, and identify discrepancies in materials or components, reporting them to the lead

- Computer skills are required (use of Word, Excel & Outlook programs)
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be quality focused
- Ability to lift 30lbs. daily
- Ability to work with a team and in a fast-paced environment

Essential Physical Demands

- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35lbs.
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift, reach, stoop, lay, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time
- Frequently and repetitively, climb a 10” step and backdown
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing

Expected Compensation
- Production Associate Trainee - $22.44/hour
