Curriculum Writer

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Curriculum Writer to develop high-quality educational and training materials that align with organizational goals and learner needs. This role will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to create engaging, effective, and measurable learning experiences for a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, develop, and revise curriculum materials, learning guides, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
- Develop clear learning objectives and outcomes that support business and learning goals.
- Create engaging content for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
- Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness.
- Edit and proofread curriculum materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Review and update curriculum based on feedback, performance metrics, and organizational needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control for curriculum materials.
- Ensure learning content is accessible and inclusive for a variety of audiences.
- Stay current on learning and development trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, English, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field .
- 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional writing, or a related discipline.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Experience developing assessments and learning evaluations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) .
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
- Familiarity with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate , or similar curriculum-development tools.
- Previous corporate training experience.
- Relevant certifications in instructional design or curriculum development.
