JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, repair and maintain heavy equipment such as scrapers, large dozers, loaders, and all types of paving equipment for the construction shop and field. Must be able to trouble shoot all components and computer systems. Learn skills necessary to perform repairs and maintenance of construction equipment. Able to diagnose and communicate equipment conditions to a supervisor. Work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Comply, understand, and promote Graniterock safety initiatives to ensure “Safety before All Else,”
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years’ mechanic experience in a construction environment
- 2 years’ experience repairing scrapers, large dozers, loaders, and paving equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record.
