Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive component repair operations, including TIG welding, hand finishing, and outside processing.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize lead times, quality, and delivery performance.
- Establish and monitor labor standards to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Analyze technical data and engineering drawings to develop safe and cost-effective repair sequences.
- Collaborate with Engineering to maintain FAA-compliant repair processes.
- Provide Sales with accurate labor and material cost estimates to support customer quotations.
- Monitor work-in-progress and provide updates during daily production meetings.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise shop personnel while fostering accountability and productivity.
- Maintain machinery, tools, and workspaces in clean, organized, and professional condition.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for shop equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols throughout machining and repair areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machine Shop Manager or in an equivalent role within a turbine engine component repair environment.
- Expertise in conventional machining and repair equipment.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced aviation or precision manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of turbine engine component repair techniques.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and repair instructions.
- Extensive experience using precision inspection tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications; SolidWorks and CNC programming experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
