Senior CCP Public Sector Comp & Classification Lead

AlphaGov is building a senior CCP-led bench for scored municipal classification and compensation proposals, including Myrtle Beach and similar public-sector pursuits.

This is a project-based consulting engagement paid when the client pays AlphaGov. The typical project share is approximately 25% of the project economics, depending on scope and award. Written authorization for name use and live references is required for proposals. The senior lead will guide methodology, quality review, stakeholder communication, and client-facing delivery for municipal, county, school, and related public employers.

The role includes leading compensation and classification analyses, reviewing job structures and pay plans, coordinating subject-matter experts, validating deliverables, presenting findings to public-sector leaders, and supporting implementation recommendations. You should be comfortable with contingent award economics, remote-first collaboration, proposal-related reference checks, and occasional client travel. AlphaGov values clear written recommendations, practical judgment, and defensible public-sector work products.

Requirements

- CCP strongly preferred, or equivalent deep public-sector total rewards and classification/compensation leadership experience.

Three to five live municipal, school, or county references, with at least one completed within the last two years.

Willingness to authorize written name use and references on proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and related government pursuits.

Ability to lead methodology, quality review, stakeholder facilitation, and client-facing delivery.

Comfort with pay-when-paid and contingent award economics, with approximately 25% typical project share.

Strong public-sector writing, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with sound judgment and attention to defensible work products.
