What You'll Do

As a Temporary Office Experience Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in keeping BCG’s Toronto office organized, well maintained, and ready for our teams each day. You will take responsibility for the daily routines that keep shared spaces, kitchens, meeting rooms, offices, and workstations clean, orderly, stocked, and functioning as expected.

You will work closely with the Office Experience team to identify and address day-to-day workplace needs. This role requires someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership of recurring tasks, and follows through—whether resetting a meeting room, replenishing supplies, addressing a kitchen or workspace issue, preparing an office for a new colleague, or coordinating a repair. Reception, catering, and event support will be part of the role when needed, but the primary focus is maintaining a consistently well-run workplace.

In this role, you will:

- Complete regular checks of meeting rooms, kitchens, common areas, offices, and workstations, keeping spaces clean, organized, appropriately stocked, and ready for use throughout the day.
- Maintain office kitchens and shared spaces, including replenishing food, beverages, and supplies; keeping areas orderly; managing waste; and identifying equipment or maintenance needs.
- Reset and prepare meeting rooms, including arranging furniture, replenishing supplies, supporting catering setup and cleanup, and addressing basic meeting-room technology needs.
- Monitor workplace equipment and facilities, including printers and shared office equipment; replenish supplies, troubleshoot routine issues, report maintenance needs, and follow through on repairs.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, keeping storage and shared work areas organized and ensuring frequently used items are available when needed.
- Prepare and reset offices and workspaces for employee arrivals, departures, and moves, including assisting with furniture, supplies, and equipment.
- Support the broader Office Experience team with mail and package handling, catering and event setup, printing and binding, reception coverage, and other day-to-day office needs as required.

What You'll Bring

- 1–2 years of experience in office services, workplace operations, facilities, housekeeping, or a similar hands-on environment.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to complete recurring daily tasks consistently and thoroughly.
- A dependable, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks from identification through completion.
- Practical problem-solving skills, including recognizing workplace issues, addressing routine needs, and escalating when appropriate.
- Ability to organize and replenish supplies, maintain orderly work areas, and manage multiple daily priorities.
- Comfort using common workplace technology and digital tools to complete day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to spend significant time walking and standing, lift and move supplies or packages, and safely use a step ladder as required.

These expectations place heavy emphasis on task ownership, effective planning, reliability, attention to detail, adaptability, collaboration, and appropriate escalation.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of the Toronto Office Experience team, working closely with colleagues who help keep the office running smoothly each day. You’ll collaborate with reception, facilities, building teams, and service partners to maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and functional workplace. You’ll also work with colleagues across the office to respond to day-to-day needs and support meetings and events when required.
