Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Quality Engineer to support an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role will focus on resolving quality issues, managing non-conformances and corrective actions, supporting supplier quality, and maintaining AS9100/AS9102 compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate internal and supplier quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage NCRs, MRB activities, and corrective actions.
- Review FAIRs for compliance with AS9102 requirements.
- Read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Monitor supplier quality and help reduce defects.
- Support AS9100 compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Inspection teams.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 .
- Experience with FAIRs, NCRs, MRB, and corrective actions .
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- GD&T experience preferred.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- ERP experience required; Epicor is a plus.
- Degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $48.08/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
