Process Engineer (ERP & Business Process Transformation)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support large-scale business transformation and ERP initiatives across Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce functions. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and product teams, helping translate business needs into system requirements, validate processes, and support successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with business process modeling, ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, stakeholder facilitation, and requirements gathering. This position plays a critical role in improving process efficiency, strengthening product readiness, and ensuring alignment between business operations and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and maintain end-to-end business processes within an established Business Process Catalog (BPC).
- Define and document detailed business processes across multiple levels of process architecture.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and system requirements.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Deployment teams to evaluate solution fit and identify process gaps.
- Validate proposed solutions and process improvements with business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operational playbooks, process maps, and repository content.
- Support user education through solution demonstrations and business process walkthroughs.
- Drive business process analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve backlog readiness and requirements quality.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the design, validation, and implementation lifecycle.
- Maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and obtain stakeholder approvals as required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, ERP implementation, or a related role.
- Experience supporting business transformation or enterprise system initiatives.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and customers.

Required Technical Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP platform.
- Business process modeling and process improvement experience.
- Experience with process documentation and repository management tools such as Mavim or similar platforms.
- Requirements gathering, documentation, and validation experience.
- Functional Design Document (FDD) development and stakeholder sign-off management.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed business process flows.
- Experience conducting solution demonstrations and supporting user adoption activities.

Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting ERP transformation or digital modernization programs.
- Exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, or Commerce business processes.
- Experience working directly with customers, dealers, partners, or external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of process governance and business process frameworks.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
