In this specialized inventory control role, you will be responsible for counting, auditing, and verifying physical inventory throughout the warehouse. We are specifically looking for a candidate with a proven background in job-specific cycle counting who understands variance investigation, physical-to-system reconciliation, and safe material handling.

Temporary Cycle Counter Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the accurate physical counting, verification, and systematic auditing of inventory , ensuring total stock accuracy across all warehouse locations.
Routine & Ad-Hoc Cycle Counts: Perform systematic physical inventory counts on raw materials, parts, components, and finished goods in designated warehouse storage bays. Variance Investigation: Compare physical inventory against system records, research inventory variances, and report discrepancies promptly to plant supervisors. Forklift Operations: Safely operate a powered industrial forklift to access, move, stage, or audit inventory stored on upper racking levels. Data Entry & Record Keeping: Record cycle counts accurately using established physical log sheets or electronic inventory tracking systems. Inventory Organization: Verify that all audited stock is properly labeled, tagged, placed in correct bin locations, and accounted for prior to production release. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain 100% compliance with all plant safety rules and PPE guidelines while keeping assigned inventory aisles clean and clear.

Temporary Cycle Counter Requirements include: Dedicated Cycle Counting Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of specific, direct experience working as a Cycle Counter / Inventory Control Specialist. Forklift Experience Required: Minimum of 1+ years of safe forklift operating experience in an active warehouse or manufacturing setting. Accuracy & Analytical Math: Exceptional attention to detail with sharp basic math skills for repetitive counting, auditing, and discrepancy research. Independent Worker: Proven ability to follow written work instructions, maintain high productivity, and work independently with minimal supervision. Assignment Commitment: Full availability to work the 1st-shift schedule and commit to a ~2-month temporary assignment starting Friday, October 2nd . Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift materials required during inventory verification. Reliability: Outstanding history of attendance, punctuality, clear communication skills, and a safety-first mindset.
